UBUBELE: AN AFRICAN PSYCHOTHERAPY RESOURCE CENTRE IN PARTNERSHIPS

One of the aims of UBUBELE is to work in partnership with various other institutions and organisations. It can be likened to a centre of a wheel; It gathers in from the periphery and returns skilled persons back into the professional, community and public domain. The ultimate goal is for UBUBELE to become a catalyst, a container and a conduit for knowledge, learning and practice in the field of mental health in Africa. UBUBELE will form partnerships with different types of organisations with different objectives.

| Partnerships with tertiary educational institutions for the placement of students , interns and researchers.
| Partnerships and cooperative joint venture projects with other training and service organisations both locally and internationally e.g. The Tavistock Clinic , The Anna Freud Centre, The Child Guidance Clinic Cape Town.
| Partnerships and, or cooperative working relationships with national, provincial, local and metropolitan government ministries and agencies.
| Partnerships with international agencies.
| Partnerships and joint projects with Research Organizations.
